Tournament Format • 9-round Swiss system • Classical time control: 90 minutes + 30-second increment per move • Default time: 30-minute delay will apply • Playing hall: Sharjah Cultural & Chess Club, UAE Sections (Based on FIDE Standard Rating – 01.03.2026) • Masters A — 2500+ • Masters B — 1900+ • Masters C — 1400–1899 With over $90,000 in total cash prizes across all sections, Sharjah Masters continues to be one of the most competitive open tournaments globally.

Masters A – $66,000 • 1st place: $15,000 • 2nd place: $10,000 • 3rd place: $9,000 • Prizes down to 15th place Masters B – $14,000 Masters C – $6,000 Cash prizes are awarded based on points and official tie-break criteria.
