The Chessify website and mobile apps are now part of one unified platform. You can sign in with the same account, access the same subscription, and continue your analysis seamlessly across all your devices.
This is much more than an account update. Tools that were previously available only on the Chessify website are now fully integrated into the mobile app, making deep analysis and structured preparation possible directly from your phone.

Chessify brings a level of analysis and preparation to mobile that was previously limited to desktop computers and laptops. Alongside existing features like scanning and game analysis, several major tools are now available in the app.
Chessify has been recognized by FIDE as the No.1 cloud service for engine analysis, and now all of our cloud servers are available on mobile as well.
Our most powerful dedicated servers use up to 1,024 CPU threads and can reach analysis speeds of up to 1 BN/s. This level of computing power allows players to analyze even the most complex positions with high accuracy in seconds—all from a mobile device.
Chessify provides two types of servers: shared servers included in subscription plans, and dedicated servers that can be rented using Coins on a per-minute basis. See the analysis section below for more details.
Chessify’s Mega Database contains more than 9.5 million games and is continuously maintained without duplicate games. You can explore opening statistics, review games played from a position, and load any game directly onto the analysis board.
The database is updated automatically every week, so recent tournament games become available, giving users consistently up-to-date data.
Alongside these major additions, the mobile app now also includes:
The available engines include Stockfish, CorChess, Lc0, asmFish, SugaR AI, Berserk, Koivisto, RubiChess, ShashChess, Caissa, Crystal, Patricia, and Viridithas.
Website users can now sign in to the Chessify mobile app with their existing account and use their subscription features in a mobile-friendly interface. If you're new to the app, we recommend checking out a short tutorial. In addition, several mobile-specific features are now available:
Offline mode: Analyze positions locally with Stockfish and save files on your device even without an internet connection. These features use your phone’s resources and do not require Coins or a subscription.
Camera chessboard scanning: Take a photo of a chess diagram from a book, screen, or physical board and instantly transfer the position to the Chessify analysis board.
Before this update, the Chessify website and mobile app operated as separate platforms. Some users had an account on only one platform, while others had registered separately on both. Here’s what each group needs to know:
Sign in using the same method you used before (Google, Apple, or Facebook). Your account and any eligible subscription should be available in the new app.
Chessify no longer supports registration or login using phone numbers, so these accounts could not be transferred automatically. If your phone-number account did not have an active subscription, we recommend creating a new account.
If your phone-number account had an active subscription, please contact us at support@chessify.me. Our team will help transfer your subscription to a new account.
If you used the same email address for both a mobile and website account, they have been merged. The nickname from the website account has been retained.
Simply sign in to the mobile app using your existing Chessify account. Your subscription, Coins, and cloud-stored PGN files will all be available.
Previously, the Chessify app and website had separate subscription systems, pricing, and features. Now that both platforms offer the same services, Chessify has a unified subscription system. Mobile-only subscriptions are no longer available. Existing mobile subscribers have been upgraded to equivalent Chessify plans that provide significantly more features.
No action or additional payment is required.
Your replacement plan will remain active for the full remaining duration of your previous subscription and will not renew automatically. After it expires, you can choose any current Chessify plan or continue using the free version.

A paid subscription is not required to use the new Chessify app.
Compared to the previous version, the free account now includes:
- Unlimited chessboard scans (previously limited to 25)
- Unlimited cloud analysis with the latest Stockfish on a shared 16-thread server
- Access to all standard cloud engines except Lc0
- Advanced notation with variations and comments
Previous free features—such as local Stockfish analysis and saving games on your device—are still available, so you can continue using Chessify for everyday analysis as before.
For users who previously used Chessify only on mobile, the new plan structure may feel unfamiliar.
Subscriptions are not purchased directly through the mobile apps. All plans and Coins are available on the Chessify pricing page and are automatically applied to your account across web, plugin, and mobile.
Chessify offers three main subscription levels: Amateur, Master, and GM.
The Amateur plan is designed for players who want stronger everyday analysis and full access to Mega database of professional tournaments, which is used to explore opening theory, find games, and prepare against specific opponents. App users with Bronze and Silver plans have been assigned this plan instead.
| Features | Bronze Plan (removed) | Silver Plan (removed) | Amateur Plan |
| Board Scans | 1000/month | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Cloud Analysis (Superfast) | 1000 seconds/month | 5000 seconds/month | Unlimited |

The Master plan provides more computing power for analysis, unlimited storage for your own games and analysis files, and access to the official ICCF database, which is the biggest collection of correspondence chess games - engine-assisted games - which naturally have much higher quality and can be used for deeper opening preparation. App users with Gold plans have now been assigned the Master plan.
| Features | Gold Plan (removed) | Master Plan |
| Board Scans | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Cloud Analysis (Superfast) | 8000 seconds/month | Unlimited with a stronger server than Superfast |

Amateur and Master plans are also available as combo options with Coins, offering better value than purchasing them separately. Coins can be used for dedicated servers, which provide higher performance than shared servers.
Chessify offers two types of cloud analysis: shared and dedicated servers.
Shared servers are included with Chessify accounts and subscriptions and can be used without spending Coins.
Depending on the plan, users receive unlimited analysis on:
Free: shared 16-thread server
Amateur: shared 32-thread server
Master: shared 128-thread server
GM: shared 128-thread server, plus Lc0 GPU analysis
As the name suggests, the computing resources of these servers may be shared between multiple users. Their speed can therefore vary depending on server activity, the position being analyzed, and the selected engine.
Dedicated servers are reserved for one user during an analysis session. Their full processing power is therefore assigned to that user rather than shared with others.
They are available using Chessify Coins and include:
Dedicated 128 threads Max speed: 130 MN/s Avg speed: 65-75 MN/s
Dedicated 320 threads Max speed: 300 MN/s Avg speed: 200-220 MN/s
Dedicated 702 threads Max speed: 700 MN/s Avg speed: 520-560 MN/s
Dedicated 1024 threads Max speed: 1000 MN/s Avg speed: 740-800 MN/s
Lc0 GPU analysis can also be used with Coins. GM subscribers receive unlimited access to the shared Lc0 GPU option as part of their plan.
Dedicated servers are especially useful for critical positions, deep opening preparation, correspondence chess, and situations where maximum speed is required.
The new Chessify app is a major upgrade with significantly more tools. As a result, some parts of the interface may initially feel more complex.
We also experienced technical issues during the initial rollout. Most have now been resolved, and we recommend updating to the latest version before reporting any problems.
Unifying the platforms allows us to improve both web and mobile together. Updates, fixes, and new features will now be released more consistently. We will continue improving performance, stability, and usability based on user feedback.
