Website Update: Engine Confidence, UI improvements, and More

We’ve rolled out a major update to Chessify today, focused on making your analysis faster, clearer, and more reliable. From a brand-new engine metric to significant performance improvements across the platform, here’s what’s new.
Confidence Score in Engine Analysis
We’re introducing a new metric called Confidence, designed to help you understand how much you can trust the engine’s evaluation at any given moment.
Instead of relying only on depth, Confidence combines multiple signals like search effort, stability, and competing moves to estimate how reliable the current evaluation is.
Fixes
The video search feature is working again. Analysis should now be much more stable. The Lichess database is still experiencing issues, but we’re actively working on resolving them in the next release.
UI Improvements
We’ve refined and modernized the interface to provide a smoother and more intuitive experience.
One important change includes the Save PGN option which is now available:
• via the three dots in the notation panel
• or by using the shortcut Ctrl + S
The server names have also been changed to reflect more accurate information. The names now show threads instead of MN/s, while the info button still lets you see the typical and peak MN/s speeds of each server.
Improved PDF Scanner
The PDF scanner has been significantly enhanced.
Recognition speed is now much faster, and you can see the digitized version of diagrams directly on the book page in edit mode. This lets you interact with positions more naturally, including moving pieces directly on the scanned page in edit mode.
