How coins work

Coins are Chessify's currency for renting dedicated servers and engines. One coin costs 1 US cent, and bigger packages carry bonus coins: 10% from $100 and 20% from $500.

How does the free trial work?

Seven days of the Amateur plan: every website feature and unlimited analysis with Stockfish, Berserk, Koivisto and the rest on 32-thread servers. No card is required and nothing is charged — the trial simply ends after seven days unless you choose a plan. It runs once per account, on the Amateur plan only.

Is there a free plan?

Yes, and it needs no card. Signing up gives you unlimited analysis on 16-thread shared servers with all 11 cloud engines, Stockfish among them, and the Syzygy tablebases. What it leaves out is the game databases, video search and saved storage beyond a single PGN — which is what the Amateur trial above is for.

Why would I need coins if I have a subscription?

Only for dedicated servers. The servers included in a plan are shared, so their speed varies with load — 32 threads on Amateur, and a 128-thread server on Master and Grandmaster, shared between up to four subscribers at a time. Coin servers are yours alone, at a fixed size of up to 1024 threads, and are charged per minute of use.

What happens when I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?

An upgrade applies immediately and you pay the prorated difference — halfway through a month, moving from Amateur to Master costs about $13.50 rather than a full $34.99. A downgrade takes effect from your next billing cycle. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops.

Do coins expire?

Coins you buy are valid for six months; while you have a plan, your coins stay active. Any purchase of $5 or more resets the six months from the day you bought it, for your whole balance rather than only the new coins.

What are the limits on the unlimited servers?

None while you are working: analysis keeps running as long as you keep making moves. After 30 minutes without one, a prompt asks whether you are still there — confirm it and analysis continues, ignore it and the server stops. Coin-based servers have no activity check at all.

Which payment methods do you accept?
